This policy explains what information we collect when you use awardedgoods.com and the tools that run on it, why we collect it, and how we protect it. We keep it short and specific on purpose. If anything here is unclear, email hello@awardedgoods.com.
We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are read and where visitors come from. It sets cookies and records your approximate location, device type and the pages you view. It does not tell us who you are. You can block it with any standard cookie or tracking blocker and the site works the same.
If you use the contact form, the name, email address and message you type are delivered to us by Formspree and land in our inbox. We use them only to reply to you.
The contractor portal collects what the IRS requires on a Form W-9, which includes your legal name, address and taxpayer identification number, and what an invoice needs, which includes your name, address, email, the work performed and the amount. We use this only to pay you and to file the tax reports the law requires of us.
Every submission is encrypted before it is stored, and it stays encrypted at rest. Only signed-in Awarded Goods staff with contractor-tool access can open it, and each time a tax id is revealed in the dashboard that action is logged. When a submission arrives we send ourselves a short email that contains your name and the kind of document you sent. That email never contains a tax id, an address or the document itself.
We keep contractor records for as long as tax law requires, generally seven years after the tax year they relate to, and then delete them.
Production Ops is for our staff and crew. Signing in with Google gives us your name, email address and profile photo, which we store so colleagues can see who posted, who is assigned, and who has access to which tool. We do not use it for anything else and we do not share it.
Crew members may photograph receipts to record expenses. Those images are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to read the merchant, date and total, then stored with the expense. Anthropic does not use data sent through its API to train its models.
When you sign in with Google or with an email address and password we store your name and email, along with which lessons you have opened, your quiz results and any certificate you earn. Lesson workbooks and quizzes are generated from the public video transcript with Anthropic's Claude API; no learner data is sent for that.
A certificate has a public verification page so an employer can confirm it is genuine. That page shows the certificate id, the course name and the learner's name as they entered it. It does not show your email address.
To find companies we might work with, we gather publicly available business contact information, such as a company's website, business address and general contact details, using research tools including Apify. We use it to write a proposal and to reach out ourselves. We never send automated marketing emails, and we do not sell or share this information.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with anyone else except when the law requires it.
Beyond Google Analytics, we use only what is needed to keep you signed in and to remember your own settings inside a tool, such as a chosen theme or where you left off in a course. Nothing follows you across other sites.
California residents have the rights described above under the California Consumer Privacy Act. We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of.
Our services are for adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
All traffic is encrypted in transit. Contractor submissions are encrypted at rest with a key that is never stored alongside the data. Internal tools require Google sign-in with a verified email and per-person permissions. No system is perfectly secure, and if we ever learn of a breach affecting your information we will tell you.
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we update the date at the top and, for signed-in users, say so inside the tool. Continued use after that means you accept the change.
